All that glitters...

A few weeks ago, I braved the crowds with my lovely Mum and went to visit the Country Living Christmas Fair. There were lots of lovely things to buy and some of the stands selling Christmas potpourri smelled amazing. Here is what I brought back:
A lovely wreath with oak leaves and acorns in silver and gold, as its quite delicate it will be an indoor wreath. Not sure where I'll put it when the time arrives, but I think maybe in the window or on one of our interior doors. I could use it as a table centre piece as well if I do any entertaining!

I found out that one of my favourite on-line shops, Velvet Ribbon would have a stand so I had to visit. Fortuitously I found something I have been hankering after for a while; a small French antique mirror in the Louis Philippe style (I think!) with pretty floral carving and delicate beading surrounding a old silvered mirror.

I also picked up a few baubles, some fancy filigree style and some traditional glass ones too.

And a set of lovely salad servers with really pretty wreath detail on the handles.

For now most of my goodies will go up in the attic until it's time to deck the halls!

  7. Hi that was one of may favourite stalls to, I bought some of the blue preserve jars, slightly heavy to carry back to Devon, but they made it in one piece. I love your reef and the mirror I think you must have found the stall before me, otherwise it might have been on its way back home with me!!!
    Have a lovely week.
