November News

Oh dear - it's been a while since I've posted anything on my blog - but at least I have got lots of developments to share! We had our first cottage guests - my lovely Mum and Dad! And after alot of searching I managed to find a lovely dresser for our cottage ...
with lots of room to display all my treasures....
It's a perfect fit! There have been developments in the bathroom too! We've had a lovely old-looking slate floor laid to replace the white tiles we had before - which I was forever cleaning!

Plus, the month of November would not be complete without a foray into the Country Living fair! I came back with a few goodies - a lovely 1930s comfy quilt ...
A vintage french basket which now is home to a selection of magazines ...
And a bargain pot holder with cyclamen included for the princely sum of £5.00 - very reasonable for Central London!

  5. Hi Charlotte! I found your blog while blog hopping during a rest period when we first started working on our new house. This was back in September. I just love your little home. We are still trying to get things done in our new home and I too need to update my blog. Our move has been plagued by Murphy's law but we are getting there.

You are so lucky to be able to attend the Country Living fair! The British Country Living is my very favorite magazine. Love your new comforter!

  6. P.S. ~ Forgot to say what a beautiful dresser you found. It looks like it was handmade just for that spot in your room. The oval roses serving plate is so pretty!
